Memories and images transformed into permanent pieces.
You will wear a work of art on your body
There are styles that decorate the skin… and others that look reschedule it. The biomechanical tattoo It transforms muscles, tendons, and bones into gears, cables, and pistons, as if there were a hidden engine under the skin.
En Avantgarde Tattoo We design biomechanical parts designed so that every twist of the wrist, every flex of the arm, or every turn of the torso brings the tattoo to life: gears that seem to move, metal plates that open, torn skin that reveals technology.

SKIN TURNED INTO PHOTOGRAPH
A well-done biomechanical tattoo is not just "broken skin with wires"
Your identity can be expressed as a hybrid between human and machine: It's not just a shocking effect, it's a way of telling how you see the future, your strength and your darker or more technological side.
- It's anatomically designed: the piece adapts to the body like a second mechanical skin.
- It's narrative: it speaks of transformation, of evolution, of that part of you that feels more machine than flesh.
- It's about technique: realism, shadows, volumes, and lights that create authentic depth.
En Avantgarde Tattoo We don't just want you to have "a cool tattoo" and that's it. Our goal is create art that represents you:
- We define the idea with you (more organic, more robotic, darker, more futuristic).
- We study which part of the body lends itself best to the effect (arm, leg, chest, back).
- We designed a custom project, with a 360º flow.

El biomechanical tattoo (o biomechanics) is a surrealist style that fuses organic elements (muscles, tendons, bones) with mechanical elements (gears, pistons, cables, circuits), as if the body were a machine inside.
Its modern origin is closely linked to the art of HR Giger, the Swiss artist who designed the creature for the film Alien (1979).
His works mixing flesh and metal inspired tattoo artists in the 80s and 90s, who began to develop the biomechanical as a personal style on the skin.
Today it's a very popular style in contemporary tattooing because it allows for fully customized designs, adapted to the anatomy; it works great in arms, legs, chest and back with large projects; connects with the aesthetics cyberpunk, sci-fi and post-industrial that we see in movies, comics, and video games.

Considerations before getting a biomechanical tattoo
What to keep in mind
A biomechanical tattoo is usually a medium to large piece (forearm, full arm, leg, chest, back) and requires time, several sessions, and a high tolerance for detail. It's not a "quick" tattoo, but a project.
Body locations that work best
- Arms and forearms: ideal for sleeves where the gears follow the musculature.
- Legs and thighs: plenty of room to develop complex scenes.
- Chest and back: perfect for pieces that wrap around the torso and play with the spine, shoulder blades, and collarbones.
Approximate completion time
A biomechanical component may require from several short sessions up to tens of hours, spread over weeks or months, depending on size, color and level of detail.
Specific care
The aftercare is similar to that of other large tattoos:
- Gentle cleaning with water and neutral soap.
- Specific cream in a thin layer, without "suffocating" the skin.
- Avoid sun, sea, swimming pool and intense friction.
- Protect the area from long-term sunlight to preserve contrast and color.
Realistic expectations
A good biomechanics expert is not something you can just wing: It requires planning, trust in the tattoo artist's judgment, and accepting that small revisions may be necessary over time, especially in highly exposed or highly mobile areas.

I got a tattoo and two piercings at this studio, and everyone was so friendly. Fulvio, a super nice guy known as "Monochrome," did my tattoo—he's an amazing artist! He listens and guides you every step of the way, and I'm so grateful for his patience. I left there thrilled and in love with my new tattoo, and I'll definitely be back for another one. Angela did my piercings; she's a sweetheart. I was super nervous, but it didn't hurt at all. A few months later, I was worried about one of them because it looked like it had gotten infected, and she took care of it right away and told me everything. Now everything is perfect! They're both fantastic artists, and I recommend them 100%! 👌Published on Google Joana BorregaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I adore the service and the tattoos! I went to the studio and had an amazing experience from beginning to end. The atmosphere is super clean, organized, and welcoming; you can see the care in every detail. Fernanda (Pink Becker) did my tattoo, and honestly… what a light touch! Besides being extremely talented, she has a very special sensitivity for understanding exactly what you want. I felt very safe throughout the entire process because she explains everything, answers questions, and makes you feel very comfortable. The result was simply perfect, much more beautiful than I imagined. You can tell she truly loves what she does. I would definitely go back and recommend her without hesitation!Published on Google Victoria ViergeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I went yesterday afternoon to get my eyebrow pierced and my sister got her nipple pierced. The girl who did our piercing (whose name I can't remember 🥲) was super friendly and kind. My sister was a little nervous, but she really put us at ease. Everything was very clean and professional. If I ever need another piercing, I know where to go back 😊Published on Google Diego Badr MarañaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. 100% recommended. First time in 20 years that I had to look for another tattoo artist, but they made the whole process easy and smooth from the very first walk-in. Very professional handling the booking and appointment, and the tattoo artist Betto was super friendly and did an amazing job throughout the entire 4-5 hour session, making sure that every single detail of what I had designed was done in the exact same way. Extra kudos to him as both tattooed pieces healed incredibly well, which confirms his great technique. I will definitely be coming back here for whatever tattoo comes next!Published on Google Yago Garcia RubioTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was assisted by Valen, and it was a truly pleasant and successful experience. It's clear she's passionate about what she does, and she knows how to connect you with an exceptional artist. She also takes great care in understanding the design you have in mind and adapting it to what you're really looking for, focusing on what would work best for YOU and what would suit YOU best.
