In recent years, tattooing has become increasingly professional. It's essential to know the tools, adapt to different skin types, master multiple styles, and comply with health regulations . That's why we've designed a comprehensive training program with courses for tattoo artists.
Whether you're looking to start from scratch or hone your skills in a professional environment, our training is designed to give you all the necessary tools to practice safely, creatively, and with a solid foundation.

Our programs are structured to offer a comprehensive and professional overview of tattooing , covering all key areas: drawing, technique, placement, styles, biosafety, and legislation. This is not a generic course, but rather a training pathway with three complementary courses , which you can take separately or combine according to your level and needs.

THREE COURSES, THREE WAYS TO ADVANCE
Course to become a tattoo artist
You will learn from the fundamentals to the applied technique, including:
- History of tattoos and styles.
- Machines, needles and cabin assembly.
- Drawing and design applied to tattooing.
- Line, shading and filling techniques.
- Intensive practice on synthetic skin and simulation on real skin.
- Final evaluation and post-course follow-up.
Tattoo artist course in English
This course offers exactly the same content as the in-person course, but is taught entirely in English, ideal for those who are not fluent in Spanish or are seeking international training.
It is especially useful for:
- Erasmus students or temporary residents in Barcelona.
- Foreigners intending to work in Europe.
- Students who feel more comfortable learning in English.
During the 4 weeks of training, all essential content is covered:
- History and evolution of tattooing.
- Styles, techniques and safety.
- Applied drawing, machines, materials and practice on synthetic leather.
- Simulations of real sessions with professional feedback.
The training is in person, in small groups, and with ongoing support.
A professional, accessible, and language-free option for training in a multicultural environment.
Hygienic-sanitary course
Mandatory training to practice as a tattoo artist in Spain and throughout the European Union. This accredited course lasts 35 hours , distributed as follows:
- 16 hours of online theory.
- 10 hours of in-person theory.
- 9 hours of in-person practice.
Throughout the course, you will learn about:
- Basic microbiology and prevention of biological risks.
- Sterilization, disinfection and cleaning techniques.
- Hygiene and health protocols and current legal regulations.
- Waste handling and environmental management.
The training is assessed through a theoretical test, and upon passing it, you will receive a certification valid for 10 years throughout Europe . It is available in Spanish or English , and you can combine it with any of our technical courses.

Gain experience at one of Barcelona's most renowned tattoo studios . Our teaching method is tailored to each individual, guaranteeing cutting-edge quality in your introduction to the art of tattooing. No prior knowledge is required to take our tattoo course in Barcelona ; we start from scratch and offer the option to obtain an accredited health and hygiene certificate as part of our training.
Do I need previous experience to sign up?
No. All of our courses are designed for people with no prior experience. We start with the basics and progress gradually.
Which course should I take first?
We recommend starting with the Tattoo Artist Course (in person or online). Once you have the technical foundation, you can complete your training with the Sanitary Hygiene Course if you want to practice professionally.
Can I take the course if I don't live in Barcelona?
Yes. We offer options such as the Online Course (with a practical session) and the Hygiene and Sanitation Course in a blended format. You can also plan your trip to Barcelona to complete the in-person portion on specific dates.
Is the health and hygiene certificate mandatory?
Yes, it's a legal requirement to work as a tattoo artist in Spain and the European Union. That's why we offer it as complementary training.
Can I take just the hygiene and health course?
Yes. It's a standalone course, and you can take it even if you're not enrolled in the other courses. In fact, many practicing tattoo artists choose us to obtain their official certification.
